Celebrating its 21st birthday, the IBM i platform is holding strong. In fact, users around the world are touting its value and achievements through what is known as the IBM i Manifest. The idea took off in Japan last year and is growing in popularity in the IBM i community. Europe soon followed suit creating its own initiative and now the U.S. has fallen in line. Jeff Olen, an IBM i consultant is spearheading the initiative in the U.S. – first constructing a board and then obtaining some funding.
The members will be divided into three categories depending on company size. They looking for almost 50 founding members to launch and guide the initiative.
