Gartner’s Information Security Summit was held in London this week on Monday and Tuesday. As one of the more influential analyst groups in the industry, it is always interesting to follow the latest topics that Gartner is researching. This year’s Summit focused on the role of the information security professional, what they should be doing and industry best practices.
The broader subjects of the conference were risk management, data-loss prevention, identity & access management, compliance threats, web security, mobile and wireless security, application protection, GRC tools and processes and many others.
I think the roundtables and panel discussions would have been extremely valuable. Did anyone attend? I’d love to hear what you thought of the event.
