Jim Quinn is an experienced tax and financial adviser, as well as a husband, father of three, and grandfather of seven. After graduating from Fordham University with a degree in Accounting, he put his career on hold to serve as Captain in the US Marine Corps in Vietnam. A few years later through Touche, Ross CPA's he qualified for a CPA Certificate, eventually becoming a successful CPA with extensive industry experience in tax financing. Since 1998 he has managed Q Financial, his own commercial real estate financing consulting service that provides conventional financing while maintaining his affiliation with Roosevelt & Cross, Inc.

Previously, Jim was the Executive Director for the Town of Hempstead IDA, which develops, and assists in acquiring, constructing and furnishing of qualified projects and facilities, thereby increasing the job base of the Town. Prior to that, he was the CFO of L.I. Sports Enterprises, which manages the NY Nets and Islanders. Later he became CFO of various family businesses until his political debut.
